Cute little monsters are loose in the neighborhood!

Neighborhood Fun on Halloween

Do you remember going trick-or-treating when you were young? The anticipation for Halloween began building weeks ahead of time. Choosing a costume, testing which size bag held the most candy, planning your route through the neighborhood. As darkness approached on Halloween night you could barely contain your excitement. I remember literally running from house to house, happily shouting to friends as we crossed paths. Then, later, falling exhausted into bed with dreams of all that candy easing my way into sleep.

Lemax has captured the spirit of that simpler, more joyous time in their selection of trick-or-treat figurines, part of the Spooky Town collection. Instead of actual mummies and monsters, this part of the collection features children (and even a few pets!) dressed in costume and ready for an evening of Halloween fun. You’ll find cowboys and scarecrows, witches and wizards, fairies and fire fighters, many toting pumpkins filled to the brim with sweets and treats.

Not every Spooky Town display includes haunted mansions and scary goblins. The simple pleasure of children playing dress-up for one night is a wonderful Halloween memory worth recapturing.

Happy Halloween!
