Fall has arrived.

It may be August in our world, but Fall has arrived in Harvest Crossing.

When most people think of Lemax collections, they immediately think of our Christmas villages or the Spooky Town Halloween collection.

But who says you can’t celebrate the fall with a Lemax village too?

Our August Inspiration photo shows us just how fun an Autumn-themed village can be. The scene depicts downtown Harvest Crossing, bustling with people who are rushing to do their errands before Winter hits in full force.

At the far left, we see The Hop Stop, a trendy new microbrewery that’s made its way to town. Next to that is Lulu’s Bakery and Cafe, a popular spot for locally sourced treats. On the far right we have The Buttermilk Cafe, a delightful farm-to-table restaurant in the shape of a barn.

At the far back, we have Hillcrest Community Church, the community’s gathering spot on Sundays. Close by is Country Lane Cottage, a beautiful home.

There’s a Grocery Delivery taking place, others are Gathering Kindling, and the Merry Milkman is being pursued by a pack of thirsty dogs. Outside the Buttermilk Cafe, there’s a Buy Local pickup truck set up, selling fresh produce. Other loveable characters include Going to Market, Forest Procession, Delivering Milk, and more.

This fall scene is beautifully decorated with realistic red-leafed trees, including the Linden Tree, Baldcypress, Black Tupelo, and a fruitful Apple Tree. To achieve the realistic cobblestone, we used the Pebble Mat.
